Frequently asked questions
Which files can I upload?
PDF and Word files (.docx) up to 50 MB, for example lecture slides, notes, book chapters or past exams. Up to 20 pages per document for free, up to 130 with Plus and up to 300 with Pro.
What are credits?
Credits pay for the AI work when content is created. How many a document needs depends mostly on its length: summary, quiz and flashcards for a 70-page document take about 20 credits together, for 20 pages about 7. Studying saved content never uses credits, and if a generation fails, nothing is charged.
Is MemoWize free?
You start free with 40 credits – enough for several documents. If you need more, there are Plus and Pro, cancellable every month.
What happens to my documents?
Your documents are stored on our servers in the EU. To create content, the relevant pages are sent to the AI provider Anthropic, which does not use them to train its models. You can delete single documents or your whole account at any time. Details are in the privacy policy.
Can I study on several devices?
Yes. With your account you study in the browser on any device and in the Android app; the iPhone app is coming soon. Documents and progress are the same everywhere.
How accurate is the content?
MemoWize creates content from your material with artificial intelligence. It can contain mistakes – that is why every question and card shows its source in your document, and you can correct anything.
Who is behind MemoWize?
MemoWize is a product of Polytherium OG from Vienna, a company that builds apps for iOS, Android and the web. More about us at www.polytherium.com.
How do I cancel?
On the web under “Plans & credits” via “Manage subscription”, for in-app purchases through the App Store or Google Play. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the billing period; credits you paid for stay yours.
